These systems can identify the signs of a fire at the earliest possible stage and can pinpoint its location across large premises. Different sensors detect a variety of fire situations, from fast flaming blazes to slow smouldering fires that can release poisonous gases.
A professionally installed system is vital, and so is maintaining it with minimum disruption to you and your business. Periodic servicing reports are submitted and can be tailored to your budget and requirements. Reports also identify any problems with specific systems causing unwanted alarms, and we will work with you to prevent further occurrences.
Our fire alarm systems
These are typical systems we can supply, install and commission.
Conventional systems: the entry level for most fire system requirements, suitable for small offices, nurseries, small hotels, warehouses, shops and any small business.
Twin wire systems: similar to a conventional system, as they have detection zones. The main advantage is that sounders can be put on the detection circuit, saving the cost of wiring additional sounder circuits.
Addressable systems: transmit data over the detection circuit, giving detailed information including the exact location of the fire. They are ideal for larger premises such as hotels, office blocks and large factories.
Automatic fire detection: commonly used in areas where a fire may start from combustible materials such as paper, wood and textiles.
Wireless (radio) systems: the same as a standard analogue addressable system but with no wires linking the detection and sounders. Wireless systems are ideal for premises with multiple buildings, such as schools, colleges or science parks.
Remote monitoring: once the right system is in place, consider how an alarm will be responded to out of working hours. A remote monitoring system links the alarm to an alarm receiving centre.
